Call for Papers and Exhibitions
We welcome original, high-quality research contributions, industrial practices, and innovative ideas that advance the state-of-the-art in the design, development, deployment, evaluation and understanding of emerging ICT solutions for revolutionize industries. Discussion on future plans to promote the use of ICT in various development sectors to enhance their competitiveness and productivity will be considered. Topics of interest include but not limited to;
- E-Skills (or digital skills)
- Technologies for monitoring, predicting and disseminating agricultural information such as growth, weather and prices
- Models, theories, principles and applications of Mobile Money
- Perspectives of ICT in a society and the society’s e-readiness
- Smart industries
- Internet of Things (IoT)
- ICT innovation policy development and evaluation
- ICT in Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Education, Business and other sectors
- Artificial Intelligence and Robotics
- Data Analytics
Format and Submission Details
We encourage submissions from researchers and practitioners from academia and industry. Full papers should not exceed 6 pages, using IEEE format, describing original work or a position paper. Extended abstracts (also suitable for practitioners’ presentations) should not exceed 4 pages including introduction, body of knowledge and conclusion, supported by not more than 10 references. For exhibition of a novel ICT solution, a brief summary of the solution should not exceed 2 pages detailing technical aspects of the solution, its rationale, and key beneficiaries.
Papers, extended abstracts and summaries of novel ICT solutions must be submitted as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com, marked as either a paper, an abstract or a summary respectively. The submissions should be in a Word Document Format (.doc) only. All papers will be fully reviewed by at least two reviewers and before final acceptance all reviewers' comments must be considered.
Selected full papers, extended abstracts and novel ICT solutions will be published in the Summit proceedings. An electronic version of the summit proceedings will be published online at the Summit Website. At least one author of a selected paper and an extended abstract, and a novel ICT solution MUST register to attend the summit to present their respective submission.
Journal Publication Opportunity
Few selected papers will be considered to be published in a special issue of the International Journal of ICT Research in Africa and the Middle East (IJICTRAME).
