Effective risk management process requires two common qualities of strong team work and open communication.This, supported by strong action and solution orientation enable the Risk Management function to carry out its mandate effectively. Risk Champions are central to this, and if used well, they become the glue that can hold risk activities together.

The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) has organized a four (4) days training workshop on Risk Management for Risk Champions. In this intensive four days event you will learn why Risk Champions are integral to effective risk management. While not everyone has the innate ability to identify risk and opportunities, or the confidence to communicate the benefits of risk management to a skeptical workforce, fortunately these are skills you can learn. For this reason, we have designed a unique new course for all levels of management: incorporating workshops, group discussions, real case studies and interactive sessions, which demonstrate how to influence and guide your colleagues in Risk Management at your workplace.
