A Call for the Training on Application of E-Office Management System in Managing Electronic Records

The need today, taking note of this interconnecting control information is actually the responsibility of the officials in the organization. Given the enormity of the amount of information that crosses the various sectors that the organization has to discharge, it becomes humanly impossible to keep track of each of them and maintain the control information manually. It would be of tremendous help to use an integrated system to capture dissemination and use all of these activities and information elements along with the control information. The efficiency, productivity, and control that can be exercised on the implementation of every decision can be increased by the use of such a system.

With the aim of providing seamless and efficient services to the citizens, the Tanzania government under e-Government Authority (e-GA) has designed and developed e-Office management software which is an electronic system for facilitating day-to-day administrative activities within government institutions. This includes the circulation of files and documents within and among public institutions.

 

Thus, the purpose of this training is to impart knowledge regarding the adoption, implementation, and use of e-Office management software in public institutions.

At the end of this training participants will be able to:

>>Introduce the roles and use of e-Office management software in public institutions.

>>Equip participants with the adoption and use of e-Office management software in performing daily administrative file movement.

>>Equip participants with basic requirements to adopt and use e-Office management software.

>>Equip participants with technical knowledge and skills to manage e-Office management software.

>>Familiarize participants with proper management of electronic file movement using e-Office management software.

 

>> Familiarize participants with proper Incoming Mails Management using e-Office management software.
