Course Details

In developing countries, entrepreneurship is a major area for which many retirees opt for. Entrepreneurship skill is important in starting manageable businesses. This Programme aims at enhancing the capacity of private labor market institutions and enabling employees to access standard and practical outcome-oriented entrepreneurship skills before retirement.

This initiative is important because most employers in Tanzania don’t have retirement programs. Organizations can strengthen their image and trust by preparing employees for retirement. All employees are targeted because early preparation is the best.

The uniqueness of this training program is that every participant will come out with identified self-compatible business opportunities/projects for immediate implementation. Specifically, at the end of this training participants will be able to:

ü Understand the Concepts of Retirement and Retirement Planning in Entrepreneurship

ü Manage Finance and Health in Retirement.

ü Understand the Entrepreneurship Motivation for Potential Retirees.

ü Generate a Business Idea and Identify Opportunities for potential retirees

ü Explore the Business Start-up Strategies and Process & Ownership/Structure Decisions.

ü Develop a Business Plan, Succession Plan, and Wills for Potential Retirees.
