PostgreSQL is the the world’s most advanced open-source relational database. It is a powerful, open-source object-relational database system with over 35 years of active development that has earned it a strong reputation for reliability, feature robustness, and performance. Among its features is scalability and fastest performance with high flexibility and security. Due to its applicability in business operations, the Institute of Finance Management will conduct an advanced training on PostgreSQL to add technical skills to the participants.

The main objective of this training is to provide intermediate and advanced knowledge and skills for implementing and managing PostgreSQL database.

At the end of this training, participants will be able to
•Install and configure PostgreSQL in Ubuntu and Windows OS
•Managing database users and permissions.
•Write and execute advanced SQL statements.
•Adopt and integrate PostgreSQL to their organizations.
•Installing and working with pgAdmin software for managing PostgreSQL.
•Backup data and doing restoration when needed.
