  1. To facilitate postgraduate studies at UTAR for IFM faculty members and graduates.
  2. To facilitate academic development exchange between the Parties, including mutual visits by faculty members to pursue research and participate in seminars, conferences and workshops.
  3. To facilitate study visits and student exchange for undergraduate and postgraduate students where appropriate for the purpose of enhancing students learning experience.
  4. To facilitate sharing of experiences and expertise in areas of mutual interests including development of IT related systems
  5. Joint research projects by faculty members from both Parties
  6. Appointment of visiting scholars
