Dismas Alex is an assistant lecturer in Economics at the Institute of Finance Management (IFM), Tanzania. His duties at IFM include teaching, conducting research, and providing consultancy services. He holds M.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Economics and Statistics from the University of Dodoma (UDOM) in Tanzania. His research interests are in applied economics, econometrics, development economics, financial economics, and impact evaluations of programs. In 2022, Dismas published his paper titled "Impact of secondary education development program on access to secondary education in Tanzania" in the International Journal of Economy, Education and Entrepreneurship. He has also received training in research methodologies, data collection, data analysis, and publications, as well as impact evaluations from the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF), UDOM, and UDSM.
