Dr. Justus Mwemezi is the Head of the Banking and Financial Services Department at the Institute of Finance Management (IFM). He is an accomplished academician and banker with extensive experience in banking, digital financial services, financial economics, and development economics. He serves as a Lecturer at IFM, Tanzania. His career began with the Bank of Baroda (T) Ltd before transitioning to academia in 2009. Dr. Mwemezi holds a PhD in Banking and Financial Economics from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. He earned his Master of Economics and Finance for Development at Bradford University, UK, in 2013, and his bachelor’s degree (Advanced Diploma) in Banking and Finance from IFM in 2008. He has published various research papers in indexed journals and conference proceedings. His research papers have been published in renowned academic Scopus journals such as Emerald, Inderscience and WSEAS Transactions on Business and Economics. Read More
