Introduction

Achieving sustainable and inclusive development remains a major challenge for emerging economies despite global initiatives such as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 SDGs. Addressing this challenge requires a multidisciplinary approach in which accounting and finance play a pivotal role. These disciplines not only support macro-level sustainability goals but also enable their integration into firm-level strategies and practices. The 6th International Conference on Accounting and Finance in Emerging Economies (ICAFEE), formerly ICNRAF, provides a platform for researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to explore and exchange insights on how accounting and finance can drive sustainable and inclusive development.
