IFM, THE WINNER OF DSE SCHOLAR INVESTMENT CHALLENGE 
The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) keeps its track record of WINNING. It showcases the quality of its programmes and its distinguished competence in finance management and other related disciplines. 

The DSE Scholar Investment Challenge involved simulation of investment in the capital market, and the results were announced on 13th September 2024. Judges, who were also the mentors during the challenge, were the leading brokers of DSE (Orbit Security, Alpha Capital & Zan Security).  

On 11th October 2024, there was an awarding ceremony at the Hyatt Regency. The Guest of Honour was the DSE Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Peter Situmbeko Nalitolela. 

Two(2) main categories were up for the challenge
□ Individual category: 816 candidates participated
□ Group Category: 12 groups participated

 IFM won the following positions; 

 Individual category: 
□ 1st Position: Haji M. Hamdun , pursuing Bachelor of Economics & Finance (BEF) programme; BEST OVERALL WINNER, generating more profit than the rest of the candidates i.e. TZS 9M 

 Other TOP 10 positions occupied by IFM in this category: 
6th Position: Jerome Edson
8th Position: Cosmas Silvestar
9th Position: Pamela R. Kasan

 Group Category: 
IFM attained the following winning positions;
1st position: Wallstreet Capital Club(IFM)
2nd position: Tanzanite Club (IFM) 

Other higher learning Institutions which participated in the challenge are the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) & College of Business Education (CBE)
