Dr. Deogratius Mathew Lashayo

Dr Deogratius Mathew Lashayo holds a PhD in ICT from Management and Science University (Malaysia). Currently, he is head of the Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Studies. He is also lecturing the following modules: Software Engineering, Software Project Management and Foundations to Computer Systems.

Apart from teaching, Dr Lashayo has supervised several projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr Lashayo has published a lot in reputable peer-to-peer reviewed journals. His research areas include electronic learning systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and information security and enterprise resource planning systems. He also worked in several projects, which include a government digital payment system for all government expenditure transactions and virtual learning systems.
