The Faculty of Computing and Mathematics is an IFM academic division that brings together Mathematics and Actuarial Studies, Computer Science, and Information Technology, with expertise in ICT, actuarial science, and quantitative disciplines. Its core functions are academic and professional training, interdisciplinary research and innovation, and consultancy in ICT governance, infrastructure, digitalisation, cybersecurity, data management, analytics, actuarial valuation, product pricing and financial modelling.
FCM advances IFM’s mandate by integrating technology, data and actuarial expertise with the Institute’s strengths in finance, accounting, banking, insurance and economics, supporting digital transformation and practical problem-solving. It serves undergraduate and postgraduate students, academic staff and researchers, public and private organisations, government agencies, businesses, universities, professional bodies and collaborators. Students and partners are encouraged to engage FCM for relevant programmes, research collaboration, professional training, and tailored consultancy solutions developed through close, practical collaboration.
